How we work

Finland allows businesses (including those called “private entrepreneurs”, “independent contractors” etc.) to relocate their activities to Finland. There’s no requirement that your clients should be located in Finland.

Our team consists of professionals who have received residence permits for remote business in Finland, so we have hands-on experience and knowledge on how to make the process smooth and flawless.

We sign a contract with you explaining the conditions and payable amount after submitting the application.

You submit an application through the official Finnish Immigration Service (migri.fi) platform with documents which we help you to prepare. You will have to pay application fees to Migri at this point.

You (and your family, if applicable) go to a Finnish embassy or Visa Center (VFS) in your country to verify your identity with your passports, get face photos and fingerprints collected.

Processing usually takes one month in most cases. After that, your residence permit cards will be delivered to your home.

You arrive in Finland, and toFinland.dev helps you with setting up things needed for life — getting a registered address, opening bank accounts, getting required insurance, exchanging driving licence, etc.

Your expertise is in demand on the global market
You have a degree, relevant training, or several years of work experience in your field
You have sufficient savings to secure your livelihood — at least $18,000 for the main applicant and $9,000 for a spouse (see details for children below) — in your personal bank account
